This is actually the third collar I have bought from The Pittie Clothing Company, not because they don't last but because I added to my pack. When I adopted Toffee, the first thing I did was to register her microchip. The second thing I did was to shop here and buy her martingale collar. My other two have them and they are fantastic. Because they are martingale style, my pups have a hard time slipping out of them when on the leash. The Pitty-potamus collar is comfortable on her neck, it is easy to adjust the size depending on my dog's neck size, and I can easily add her tag to the collar in case she was to get loose. If the collar gets dirty, you can always put it in a zippered laundry bag to wash with the other dog things. Really, this is the go-to collar for my pups. The designs are fun and show off how fantastic my pitbulls really are.

This DOES run large according to the site measurements. I know my dog, I have had her for 7 years, and I re-measured her before ordering because I also ordered clothing.

The reason I think the collar seems slightly too large, is the "tag" is a sewn on rubbery emblem, and that prevents the collar slide buckle from moving over it...so the last 2" of the collar are not able to be used...the site says 17" to 23" but I would say you can't go any smaller than about 19". FYI.

Ordered the wrong size… I got it to fit it just looks kinda crazy. Collar is large and well made.
